TxGRAPH'2020


3D Model TxGraph'2020 is a festival of events that provides a forum for the dissemination of new theories and techniques to a community of researchers, developers, students, and practitioners across four pillars of visualization:
  • computer graphics and visualization;
  • motion and animation;
  • visual arts and aesthetics; and
  • interaction and gaming.
TxGraph'2020 provides a forum for the dissemination of new theories and techniques to a community of researchers, developers, students, and practitioners across a wide range of fields from computer graphics, visualization, motion, and animation, to visual arts, aesthetics, interaction and gaming. It will be organized in College Station Texas from May 11th 2020 to May 16th 2020. The festival has activities including presentations, tutorials, courses, workshops, art exhibitions, film and animation festivals. The activities will be held using classroom and auditorium spaces of Langford Center of College of Architecture at Texas A&M University. The main auditorium is Geren Auditorium in Langford Center B. The following list is detailed explanation of the activities.

PRESENTATIONS

These provide a detailed overview of recent research and creative works in (1) computer graphics & visualization; (2) motion & animation; (3) visual arts & aesthetics; and (4) interaction & gaming presented in the following forms:
  • 50 minutes presentations;
  • 25 minutes presentations; and
  • Poster presentations.

COURSES

These are tutorials that provide a more detailed overview of relatively recent research and creative works in (1) computer graphics & visualization; (2) motion & animation; (3) visual arts & aesthetics; and (4) interaction & gaming in the following forms
  • half-day (3-hour) hands-on or presentation based; and
  • full-day (6-hour) hands-on or presentation based.

EXHIBITIONS

These will be exhibitions of interactive or creative works in (1) computer graphics & visualization; (2) motion & animation; (3) visual arts & aesthetics; and (4) interaction & gaming in the following forms,
  • half-day (3-hour) interactive demos; and
  • gallery exhibitions.

RED WASP FESTIVAL

These will be festivals of films and animations in the following forms,
  • Live-Action Film Festival; and
  • Animation Festival.
